Hey there, Mr. Kauflin.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this years conference. I am a young worship leader at my church seeking to understand more about my role in the church.
I just had a quick question:
Will all of the Main Sessions and Seminars be available for download post-conference?

I’d like to hear your thoughts on what role you think current musicians in the church should play in taking in music “apprentices” or what responsibility we have to teach musicianship skills and technique to the next generation. Especially if some of our young ones are home schooled and perhaps lack exposure to music training or if money for lessons is an issue. If we should feel the burden to do so, what should that look like? Teaching lessons? Offering opportunites to have current musicians “observed”? Inviting young people to worship team rehearsals?…. On a side note how do you handle those who sacrificially serve in the vocal arena but sing slightly out of tune? (I’m not a leader). No need to answer now, just looking forward to asking at the conference and hoping to get ideas there.

I just registered today May 27. Two of the folks I registered were VERY interested in the Advance Piano Technique class. Any chance to consider raising the number of registrants?

Dave and Julie, thanks for wanting to come to WorshipGod09! We’re close to 1000 now, so still plenty of time to sign up. Although there is usually a large group of people who sign up when the rates increase (June 1). But I’m fairly sure you’ll be fine.

We are belong to Grace Church Frisco and are very interested in addending the Worship God 09 conference. We are a little low on funds and are unsure if we would be able to pay for the conference until mid June. We were wondering how fast is this event filling up and is it likely that you would have two spots open on June 15th.

Fatima, I’m happy to let you know that we’ll be providing Spanish translation for the main sessions, and hopefully the seminars that take place in the main auditorium. I’ll be announcing this in the near future on the WorshipGod website.
