Seminars Are Filling Up…
I didn’t think I’d be writing that four months before the conference began, but it’s true. Registration is at 1/3 capacity and already four seminars are 80% full and one has reached capacity. Now begins the fun process of determining whether we need to move the seminar locations around. We got creative this year, and are holding one workshop outside under a tent and another workshop in a large hallway. That’s given us more room, but we’re expecting more people to attend this year.
All that to say, the sooner you sign up, the better the chance that you’ll be able to go to the seminars you want. At some point soon, I’ll post which seminars are going to be recorded. We plan on recording as many as possible, but some don’t translate well due to a lot of interaction or visuals.

Which sessions would you recommend for a drummer?
Eileen,
Obviously, the seminar on foundations for drummers. I think you’d also enjoy these:

I was wondering if the song evaluation seminar is a two part (1 & 2) or two separate (1 or 2) ones?
Brent,
Thanks for asking. They’re really two separate seminars, so you could go to either one or both. They’ll just be evaluating different songs in each seminar.
Hey, Bob. Love your music! I play bass for our worship team, so was wondering which seminars are still available/applicable to me? Also, should I plan on bringing my instrument?
I’m coming to the conference for the first time and potentially only time (I live in England) and have 2 questions: 1) I’m disabled and in a powered wheelchair – will everything be accessible for me and do you need to know which seminars I’m booked into to make sure there is space left for me (I take up more room than a manual wheelchair and need to be able to recline the seat back)?
2) I’m a songwriter who for health reasons cannot get to work with others (smallish church in UK) and cannot record myself so could really use some help/advice specific to my current song set and situation. I have manuscript and lyrics but doubt I can get a recording done for the song evaluation seminars so wondered if there was any other way I could get help? Thanks!
Sarita,
First let me say how blessed I was to read that you’re planning on coming to the conference. The sacrifices you’ll be making to get here will be greater than most. So, thank you.
I’m checking into the answers to your first question. We’ll make sure that you can go to whatever seminar you’d like to go to, and that there will be room for you. Everything will be wheelchair accessible.
To have your song(s) considered for evaluation we’ll at least need a lead sheet with melody, chords, and lyrics. We can make an exception for you regarding a recording. Maybe you know someone who could write down the notes of your songs?
Hope that’s helpful. Looking forward to meeting you!
praise God that you’ll be coming, Sarita!
