The Lord Is - Psalms
Praise the Lord - Psalms
Jesus Shall Reign - traditional
Ps. 145Psalm 145
[145:1]I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
[2]Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever.
[3]Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.
[4]One generation shall commend your works to another,
and shall declare your mighty acts.
[5]On the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
[6]They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,
and I will declare your greatness.
[7]They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant
goodness
and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.
[8]The LORD is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
[9]The LORD is good to all,
and his mercy is over all that he has made.
[10]All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD,
and all your saints shall bless you!
[11]They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom
and tell of your power,
[12]to make known to the children of man your mighty
deeds,
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
[13]Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures throughout all generations.
[The LORD is faithful in all his words
and kind in all his works.]
[14]The LORD upholds all who are falling
and raises up all who are bowed down.
[15]The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food in due season.
[16]You open your hand;
you satisfy the desire of every living thing.
[17]The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works.
[18]The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
[19]He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;
he also hears their cry and saves them.
[20]The LORD preserves all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
[21]My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD,
and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

[2]Sing to the LORD, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
[3]Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
[4]For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.
[5]For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
[6]Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
[7]Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!
[8]Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
bring an offering, and come into his courts!
[9]Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth!
[10]Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved;
he will judge the peoples with equity."
[11]Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
[12]let the field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy
[13]before the LORD, for he comes,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness,
and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Come into his presence with singing!
[3]Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
[4]Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!
[5]For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
(spontaneous songs)
The Lord Is - Psalms
Ps. 25Psalm 25
[25:1]To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
[2]O my God, in you I trust;
let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
[3]Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
[4]Make me to know your ways, O LORD;
teach me your paths.
[5]Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.
[6]Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
[7]Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!
[8]Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
[9]He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way.
[10]All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and
faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
[11]For your name's sake, O LORD,
pardon my guilt, for it is great.
[12]Who is the man who fears the LORD?
Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.
[13]His soul shall abide in well-being,
and his offspring shall inherit the land.
[14]The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him,
and he makes known to them his covenant.
[15]My eyes are ever toward the LORD,
for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
[16]Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
[17]The troubles of my heart are enlarged;
bring me out of my distresses.
[18]Consider my affliction and my trouble,
and forgive all my sins.
[19]Consider how many are my foes,
and with what violent hatred they hate me.
[20]Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me!
Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
[21]May integrity and uprightness preserve me,
for I wait for you.

out of all his troubles.

Aw, man. I wish I could have been there. :) Is there ANY possible way that you could upload any audio from the worship?? I would love to hear all, or atleast some of it!! :)
What a fantastic conference! The music was phenomenal, which goes to show that you don’t have to go out and hire a bunch of “heavy-hitters” (not that you guys aren’t!) in order to have a worthwhile event. Great content and presentation…took worshipping God to a new level for me!
Hey, what was that touching song about losing a child (”little hands”?) sung by the keyboard worship leader on Saturday morning? Is that recorded anywhere? My wife and I lost our little girl, Eve, in 2003, and I know that this song would minister to my wife, just as it did to me.
Jared,
We’ll check into posting some of the songs from the conference. Thanks for asking.
Phil,
So glad you could be with us! I hope to upload Jon’s spontaneous song some time in the next few weeks. So sorry about your loss of your little girl. I pray that you’d continue to be comforted by the God who holds us in his everlasting arms.
What a blessing the entire conference was to me and my team. Is the choral arrangement of “Glorious and Mighty” that was done by the conference choir available? WOW! What an awesome moment of worship — would really like to do that.
Hey Guys! I am “The Wife With the Selfish Husband”. I am still rolling with joy and laughter to hear from my family and friends the story of the iPod give away! Let me say thank you so much for considering us. I am truly blessed and I wish that we could have been there on Saturday, I can’t wait to download Saturday’s sessions.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I know we have been witness to the active hand of God during the conference. I am still in awe that the Lord would show this favor on us in being there. I appreciate so much your leadership but more than this, your deep desire to allow God to work in you and through you for the benefit of His body. Your heart for the Gospel and experiencing it in all its fullness is near and dear to us.
I was most impacted by the freedom in worship and desire to continue to carry this freedom in our local body. There were times during the main session worship that I would just listen and take in all in. My heart was overwhelmed to be witness to The Body of Christ worshiping our Creator with such love and humility. To see the love for Jesus dripping from hands raised in worship for Christ; I thought my heart would burst. There is a deep worth in community worship that I believe our hearts cry out for and Sovereign Grace displays this in the fullness of the Gospel. Thank you.
My Husband and I were worshiping to the PSALMS cd on the way to church this morning. As a vocalist ,I can not wait to incorporate these songs into our worship. Thank you again for your desire for a deeper understanding of the heart of God.
Michelle , Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church- Riverside Ca
I too wanted to put in a plea for being able to have access (download maybe, but even just to listen to) to the worship at the conference. Not only would it continue to refresh my mind and soul, but, having gone to the Art of Arranging and Creative Arranging seminars, it is helpful then to listen to the actual arranging in action in addition to the CD’s (which I also have).
My husband and I, Bob, were the ones that told you about our little 11 year old, Gracie, who thought we were coming all the way to Maryland with 8 others from our church to meet in a little conference room to discuss our worship — ahhahaaa - wasn’t until she saw the picture of the sanctuary I sent on my camera phone that she understood!! She just couldn’t wrap her little mind around why we needed to come to Maryland to talk about worship. And now it makes sense to me…. :)
Another blessing is that we are currently going through Don’t Waste Your Life with our teens and their parents. One of the men from our group is going to be teaching on Chapter 8 (the one about glorifying God 8 to 5) in September — we were soooooooooooo blessed that this is the exact thing that was taught Sunday at your church. It was a great foundation to this lesson!! What a blessing!!!
The conference exceeded my expectations beyond words. I feel so encouraged and refreshed, as well as pumped full of knowledge, wisdom and IDEAS!!!! :) Thank you for all the effort!
~Diane, Coast Community Church, Westminster, CA
Hey, Bob. Thanks for leading a great conference. I’m thinking about how to respond.
I am also interested in the choral arrangement for “Great and Mighty” as well as the chorus/bridge that Joseph used on “Nearer, My God, to Thee.” Any chance of those appearing online in the near future? Thanks.
Bob:
Thanks for a wonderful conference! I to want to put my vote in for some audio of the worship if at all possible. I would love to just listen to it again!
I would also love to get the arrangement of More Love To Thee that was done on Friday. It was awesome! :-)
Bob:
I too have to say that the conference was a tremendous blessing for the group of us that attended. Sovereign Grace music has been an integral part of shaping our culture of worship week after week.
Is there a way to see a list of the attending churches represented? Particularly, we’re looking to network churches here in California that have like-minded aspirations for their corporate worship.
Any possibility of making the “Great and Mighty” choral arrangement available? Thanks.
