Sojourn Music
Sojourn Music is the songwriting and recording ministry of Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, KY. Early in life of the church, Sojourn’s leaders saw the need for worship songs that could plumb the depths of gospel truth while speaking to the breadth of the human experience. Where were the theologically-rich songs of both celebration and lament, confession of sin and assurance of pardon? Turning to gifted songwriters within the church body, and turning often to the hymn writers of the past, Sojourn Music began writing, leading, and recording new songs and re-tuned hymns that would preach the gospel to the worshipping Church. Sojourn Music has released 10 albums, starting with 2005’s “These Things I Remember,” and most recently with their full-length “New Again,” and their Kids EP, “Proof Pirates.” All Sojourn Music albums can be purchased at sojournmusic.bandcamp.com.
