Thabiti Anyabwile
(Expressing Emotion with the Psalmist) Thabiti Anyabwile is senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, and is author of The Faithful Preacher: Recapturing the Vision of Three Pioneering African-American Pastors. Thabiti and his wife, Kristie, have three children.
Mark Dever
(Glorifying Christ with the Psalmist) Mark Dever is senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. Mark is also the president of 9Marks Ministries, an organization devoted to serving local churches. His numerous books and articles include What is a Healthy Church?, The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, and two exceptional commentaries: Promises Made: The Message of the Old Testament and Promises Kept: The Message of the New Testament. He and his wife, Connie, live and minister with their son, Nathan, on Capitol Hill.
David Powlison
(Enduring Hardship with the Psalmist) David Powlison edits The Journal of Biblical Counseling and teaches Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He is a superb “surgeon of the soul” and has written numerous books that help Christians understand how God changes hearts and lives. They include Speaking Truth in Love: Counsel in Community and Seeing with New Eyes: Counseling and the Human Condition through the Lens of Scripture. David and his wife, Nan, have a son and two daughters.
Bob Kauflin
(Praising God with the Psalmist; Living Life with the Psalmist) Bob Kauflin is the director of worship development for Sovereign Grace Ministries, led by C.J. Mahaney. Bob was a writer and arranger for the group GLAD from 1976 to 2006, and is one of the worship leaders at Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, led by Joshua Harris. He writes a blog at Worshipmatters.com, and his book, Worship Matters: Leading Others to Encounter the Greatness of God, will be released by Crossway in April 2008. He and his wife, Julie, have six children and five grandchildren.

Mark Altrogge
Mark has been senior pastor of what is now Sovereign Grace Church of Indiana, Pennsylvania, since 1982. He has written hundreds of songs for worship, including “I Stand in Awe” and “I’m Forever Grateful.” Mark and his wife, Kristi, have four sons and one daughter.
Ken Boer
Ken Boer is director of music and one of the worship leaders at Covenant Life Church, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Ken received training at Wheaton College, the Bethlehem Institute, and the University of Minnesota. He and his wife Rachael are happily married.
Gary Bowers
Gary has a B.S. in Music Education from Millersville University and was a professional musician before becoming a Christian. He has served on the Covenant Life music team for fifteen years and has taught at previous WorshipGod conferences. He and his wife, Kathleen, have four children.
Steve Bucca
Although classically trained on the clarinet throughout his academic years in high school and college, Steve picked up the tenor sax as a teenager and went on to play in local pop bands. After he became a Christian in 1982, Steve joined Solid Rock Church, and has used his God given talents to serve on the Worship Team for the past 25 years. As one of three men playing in SRC’s “Horn Section,” Steve writes the three-part charts for the trumpet, trombone and the tenor sax.
Dave Campbell
Dave has served on the worship team at Covenant Life Church, in Gaithersburg, MD for over 25 year. He also works with the youth and singles worship teams. He and his wife, Tracey, have four children, and six grandchildren.
Steve Cook
Steve has been writing songs for worship for more than twenty years, often collaborating with his wife, Vikki. Their songs include “I Will Glory in My Redeemer,” “There Is No One Like Our God,” and “I Bow Down.” Steve and Vikki are founders of Before the Throne Music and Underground Grace Records, where they produce albums for bands including West Coast Revival.
Steve and Vikki are part of Grace Church (Winter Garden, FL) and reside in the Orlando area with their two daughters.
Vikki Cook
Songwriter, vocalist, and Steve Cook’s wife and creative partner, Vikki is the writer of “Before the Throne of God Above” and has collaborated with her husband on dozens of songs including “I Will Glory in My Redeemer,” “There Is No One Like Our God,” and “I Bow Down.” Vikki’s voice has been featured on albums such as Worship God Live, Songs for the Cross Centered Life, and Upward: The Bob Kauflin Hymns Project.
Steve and Vikki are part of Grace Church (Winter Garden, FL) and reside in the Orlando area with their two daughters.
Jim Donohue
Jim Donohue serves as Executive Pastor of Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA. He has been on staff since 1996. His primary responsibilities include oversight of Sunday mornings as well as evangelism, singles and college students and leadership development. He resides in West Chester, PA with his wife, Tricia, and their four children.
Craig Dunnagan
Craig Dunnagan has been involved in music publishing and songwriting for 20 years. He spent nearly 10 years at EMI Christian Music Group where he helped pioneer the worship resource website, WorshipTogether.com and label of the same name. Since 2002 Craig has served at Integrity Music as the VP for Music Publishing and Worship Resources. There he pursues his passion of equipping the Church with songs and resources that help them lead God’s people into Christ - Centered, Biblically sound praise and worship.
Andy Farmer
Andy Farmer has been a pastor at Covenant Fellowship since 1993. In his current position he oversees counseling and small groups and serves in the family life sphere of the church. He also oversees dramatic arts and supervised the church music program and worship team for a number of years. He and his wife Jill have four children and live in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Doug Gould
Doug Gould is the Technical Training Associate Manager for Shure, Inc. He also serves as the worship leader in his local church, Heritage Christian Center in East Windsor New Jersey. Doug has over 25 years experience in the pro-audio industry; has presented workshops all over North America and other parts of the world, to musicians and technical ministries serving in the body of Christ.
Paul Herman
As a songwriter, worship leader, and now a member of the management team, Paul is connected with CCLI in every possible way. Paul serves as CCLI’s Marketing Manager at the global headquarters in Portland, Oregon. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from George Fox University and has served as a marketing/communications specialist for a number of ministries.
Eric Hughes
Eric joined the staff of Sovereign Grace Church of Chesapeake, VA in 1997 and is the Executive Pastor there. He oversees the general day to day operations. He is also involved in administrating our 316 Parent Teen Ministry, Singles Ministry and leads worship. Eric and his wife, Marie, have four children and live in Chesapeake.
Jordan Kauflin
Jordan has been playing drums in worship for over 10 years and is part of Covenant Life Church and the Na Band, led by his brother, Devon. He is married to Tali, and they have two children.
Julie Kauflin
Julie is Bob’s wife and has been faithfully serving alongside him for over 30 years. She will be speaking to women from the experience she’s gained as a sound engineer, vocalist, pastor’s wife, and mother. She and Bob have six children, three of the married, and six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.
Matt Mason
Matt serves on the pastoral team of Lakeview Christian Center, a Sovereign Grace affiliated church in New Orleans, where Matt oversees the Worship and Singles Ministry. He is married to Paula, and they have three children.
David McKay
David is a seasoned audio professional with a passion for music notation and digital audio workstation software. He is an Adjunct Instructor in Piano at Belmont University (College of Visual and Performing Arts) and an Ambassador/Trainer for Sibelius Software USA. Don Nalle
Don Nalle is communications director at Covenant Life Church. He loves being part of a team that supports the pastors he so deeply respects and getting to labor alongside his son-in-law, the church’s technical director. In a former life, Don played bass and sang with the group GLAD off and on from 1976 to 2002. Don and his beloved wife Nancy have three grown daughters and three grandchildren and reside in Gaithersburg, Md.
Sal Oliveri
Sal is part of Grace Chapel, in Leipers Fork, TN, where he serves on the worship team. He has been producing music since 1989. Sal and his wife, Tina, live in Franklin, TN, with their three children.
Jon Payne
Jon has been part of Sovereign Grace Ministries from a very young age, having been a part of a church plant to Denver as a teenager. Jon now has responsibility for the worship ministry at Sovereign Grace Church, in Gilbert, AZ and assists with their youth ministry. Jon graduated the Pastors College in 2005. Jon and his wife Lory live in Gilbert along with their daughter.
Shelley Reinhart
Shelley Reinhart currently sings on the Worship Team at Covenant Life Church and leads the Middle School Choir at the Covenant Life School Music Academy. At Bucknell University, she was a member of the Opera Company and sang in the BU Choirs. She has directed numerous plays and musicals during her teaching career, and is now a full-time wife and homemaker.
Pat Sczebel
Pat is a pastor at CrossWay Community Church in Surrey, British Columbia, where he oversees worship and evangelism. Pat and his wife, Cherry, have three sons and two daughters.
Pat’s songs include “Jesus, Thank You” and “His Forever,” and have been featured on several albums from Sovereign Grace Music.
Drew Shirley
Drew Shirley has been the guitar player in the band Switchfoot for 6 years. He has written, played, produced, and toured in the music industry for over 15 years and brings a passion for music and worship. He is a member of Grace Church San Diego along with his expectant wife Jenna and 4 yr old daughter Lauren.
Joseph Stigora
Joseph Stigora went on staff at Covenant Fellowship Church, in Glen Mills, PA in 1999 as the College Age Ministry Intern and his responsibilities have grown. He now serves as the College-Age Pastor and oversees the music and leading worship. Joseph graduated from West Chester University in 1996 with a Marketing major and a Creative Writing minor. Joseph currently resides in West Chester, PA with his wife, Wendy, and their three children.
Todd Twining
Todd leads the worship ministries, drama, audio, and visual media at Metro Life Church in Casselberry, FL. He also provides oversight to the Prophecy Team, Healing Team, and Evangelism and Alpha outreaches. He and his wife, Michelle, were married in 1994 and have served together locally and internationally in evangelism and outreach. Todd graduated from Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors’ College in Gaithersburg, Maryland before joining the Metro staff in June of 2002. Todd and Michelle have two sons.
Donald Whitney
Since 2005, Don Whitney has been Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he also serves as Senior Associate Dean. He is the founder and president of The Center for Biblical Spirituality. He is the author of Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life, How Can I Be Sure I’m A Christian, Spiritual Disciplines Within the Church, Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health, Simplify Your Spiritual Life, and Family Worship. His hobby is restoring and using old fountain pens.
Dave Wilcox
Dave Wilcox is technical director at Covenant Life Church, where he is blessed to serve the Lord with the people he respects most. Dave lives in Damascus, Maryland with the three people he loves most: his wife Cara, two-year-old daughter Meg, and eight-month-old son Matthew.
