Registration Nearing 1000
The other day I was adding up the number of people who had signed up for seminars. When I looked up at my calculator it read 943. I figured I must have punched in a wrong number. I added the numbers again, looked up, and it still read 943. I couldn’t believe it. We’re almost four months out from the conference and we’re already at 60% capacity. Seems most of it had to do with people wanting to save the $25 that was added to registration on April 1.
That’s good news and bad news. The good news is that we’re going to have a great time with a lot of folks. The bad news is that we’re already having to close some seminars. And we’re going to be advertising at Together for the Gospel in a couple weeks and at the New Attitude Conference at the end of May. We’re working on some solutions, like switching rooms for different seminars. But the fact is, we have space limitations and we just can’t increase the size of all the seminars. Most of them will be recorded, but it’s always nice to be there at the actual seminar. Once a seminar is full it won’t show up as an option on the registration page.
So if you’re interested at all in coming to the conference and want to have as many options as possible for the seminars, I’d sign up soon.
On the other hand, if you’re not as concerned about getting the seminars you want, take your time.

help!
my 5+ church friends and i wanted to register as a group, but registered separately for the conference, thinking that we could do this and still qualify for the group rate. i just found out from the conference blog that you need to register all at once.
what is the best way to fix this? should we just register now as a group and have our original individual registrations cancelled?
thank you for your help!
**See email below regarding group registration and the student rate.
“Hello Chris,
…Not a problem at all, everyone from your group is more then welcome to
register for WorshipGod separately. As long as you know that by the time
registration closes, you will have at least 5 people in your group, you
all are welcome to take advantage of the discounted rate.
Also, in regards to your other email on the student rate, you are more
then welcome to use the student rate as you are a grad student. Thanks
for asking!
Hope that’s helpful!

1000+ 1! =) Someone from my church registered me anonymously and I just received an e-mail notification!! WooHoo! I can’t wait!!!
Hi, I’m not sure where to post this, but wanted to ask if there is a guitar shop in the area that would rent acoustic guitars. Our group is flying from Chicago, and I don’t want to check my guitar as luggage, and it’s too awkward to bring on the plane as carry-on. Also, I won’t be able to bring an electric guitar…will we need one in order to participate in the electric guitar workshops?
Thanks,
Sue
Sue,
Thanks for asking about the guitars. You won’t really need to have your electric guitar to participate in the workshops, and I’m sure there will be plenty of acoustics available at the conference. I haven’t been able to find any of the music stores in the area that rent guitars. Hope that helps.
