Mike has been a favorite at WorshipGod conferences both in the U.S. and the U.K. He currently serves as Theologian-at-Large at Wales Evangelical School of Theology (WEST), where he is spearheading Union Theology, a pioneering way of offering theological training and education. Before his current role, Mike was Head of Theology for UCCF and has also served as an associate minister at All Souls Church, Langham Place, in London. His books include Delighting in the Trinity and Rejoicing in Christ. He is married to Bethan, and together they have two daughters, Lucy and Mia.
José Mercado (Joselo) is the senior pastor of Iglesia Gracia Soberana de Gaithersburg in Gaithersburg, MD. A native Puerto Rican, he left his career in consulting in the year 2006 to attend the Sovereign Grace Pastors College. He’s a member of the counsel of the La Coalición por el Evangelio (Spanish Gospel Coalition) and president of ReformaDos, an organization that equips leaders to restore the purity of the gospel in Puerto Rico. José completed his Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Southern Baptist Theological Seminar. He’s married to Kathy and is the father of Joey and Janelle.
H.B. Charles, Jr.
H.B. Charles, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. H.B.’s preaching has been published in the 2008 edition of The African American Pulpit, a scholarly journal that features African American preachers. His books include It Happens After Prayer, On Preaching, and The Difference Jesus Makes, all published by Moody. H.B. is currently enrolled at the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Jacksonville), where he continues his formal education. He is a regular guest speaker at various revivals, conferences, and conventions and has a deep desire to see racial reconciliation that's rooted in God's word and the gospel.
Jared has either spoken at or attended almost every WorshipGod conference since 2006. After graduating from the Sovereign Grace Pastors College in 2006, he joined the pastoral team of Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA. He assumed the role of senior pastor in 2008. Jared enjoys reading, rollerblading, poetry, drinking coffee, building fires, and listening to Josh Garrells. He resides in Glen Mills with his wife Meghan and their six children.
Rick Gamache serves as the Pastor for Preaching and Mission of Sovereign Grace Church in Bloomington, MN. His primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and teaching for Sovereign Grace Church to fulfill the mission to make disciples who delight in, display, and declare the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Rick also serves as a Regional Leader for our family of churches, Sovereign Grace Churches, in the Midwest/Northwest region. Rick and his wife, Delaine, live in Burnsville, MN and have five children: Brontë, Thaxton, Cosette, Yari, and Haddon.
Mike Bullmore serves CrossWay Community Church as Senior Pastor. Prior to leading the launch of CrossWay in 1998, Mike served for 15 years as an Associate Professor of Homiletics (preaching) and Pastoral Theology, as well as chairman of the Practical Theology Department at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has a Master’s of Divinity and a Masters of Theology from Trinity, and a Ph.D. in Rhetorical History and Criticism from Northwestern University. A Kenosha, WI native, Mike lives in his childhood home with his wife, Beverly. They have three grown children, Abigail, Madeline, and Graham.
Matt serves as Senior Pastor at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. For 19 years prior to that, he served as a worship leader in local church contexts. During that time, he contributed a chapter to Doxology and Theology: How the Gospel Forms the Worship Leader (2013). He is a contributing author to one of the forthcoming Psalms volumes in the Christ-Centered Exposition Series. Matt and his wife, Paula, have three children, Hunter, Will, and Ellie.
Patrick serves as worship pastor at Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is an active musician and educator with a love for serving the Church and training others do so as well. As a guitarist, he has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, won top awards at various competitions, served as a founding member of the band Enfield. As an educator, he has worked as an assistant professor of music at Cedarville University, taught at the Master’s College and Westmont College, and given many guitar clinics at various conferences, schools and churches. He and his wife Emily have three boys.
Steve & Vikki Cook
Steve and Vikki Cook have been worship leaders and songwriters for over 30 years. Their songs, “Before the Throne of God Above,” “I Will Glory In My Redeemer,” and many others are being used in churches worldwide. For many years, they have also taught the craft of Songwriting at various churches, conferences and colleges. Steve and Vikki reside in Greenville, IL, where Steve is an instructor of Music Industry Studies at Greenville University.
Bryan Deitrich has enjoyed playing keyboards in the church for the last 20 years. He minored in Music Theory at West Chester University and loves to be hands on in all aspects of music, whether it is performance, arranging, or producing. He is not a worship pastor, does not tour the world, never wrote a song for a Getty album, and has never been nominated for a Dove award. He is, however, a life long lover of technology (geek) with a career in software engineering who has a passion to leverage technology to enhance congregational music as the saints give glory to our wondrous God and Savior. In addition to tech and music, he also enjoys beach volleyball and likes to think he has more vert than your average 45 year old keyboard player. He lives in Wilmington, DE with his wife Cherylee and their three teenage sons.
Ryan is a music director and worship leader at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California overseeing orchestra and instrumental development. He is also a primary songwriter and bassist for the band, Enfield and has contributed to playing on several Sovereign Grace Music albums since 2011. In addition to teaching bass at the past several Worship God Conferences, he also teaches electric bass and composition as an adjunct faculty member at The Master’s University. He and his wife Rachel reside in Santa Clarita with their three children, Henry, Evelyn, and Jacob.
Doug has served the Pro Audio/MI Industry for over 25 years in various sales and marketing capacities. He blazed a trail for Shure, Inc, where for seven years built their entire House of Worship strategy through his hundreds of workshops, artist relationships and by creating educational resources. He is now founder and CEO of Worship MD, an independent consultant company and represents Audio-Technica, Aviom, Presonus and other well- known brands in the industry who desire to train, equip and resource the worship community. He has served as worship leader and as an audio tech in local churches where he resides. He is married to Sheri Gould and father to eight children and three grandchildren. Sheri has taught voice privately for over 35 years. She has served in various local churches since 1986. She was the director of Good News Productions, an evangelistic outreach involving singing, drama, dance and original musicals for 13 years. She writes a regular vocal column for Worship Musician! Magazine and has been featured in various magazines such as Front Yard Worship Magazine and Inner Voice. She tours the country with her husband teaching and equipping the body of Christ for music ministry at such conferences as Christian Musician Summit, Seminars4Worship, International Worship Institute, Experience Conference, Unite Worship, Worship Arts Technology Summit and more. A home-schooling mom since 1985, she her husband, Doug, reside in New Jersey.
Bob Kauflin is the director of Sovereign Grace Music where his main tasks include equipping pastors and musicians in the theology and practice of congregational worship, and overseeing albums produced by Sovereign Grace Music. He currently resides in Louisville, KY, where he serves as a pastor at Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. He blogs at Worshipmatters.com, and has written two books, Worship Matters: Leading Others to Encounter the Greatness of God, and True Worshipers. He and his wife, Julie, have six children and an ever growing number of grandchildren.
Devon serves as a pastor at Grace Church of Clarksburg by leading corporate worship, preaching, and providing pastoral care. He also serves Sovereign Grace Music by contributing to recordings, leading events, and developing strategies for training leaders and better serving local churches. He completed his B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland (2007) and his M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015). Devon and his wife, Kristine, were married in 2006 and have 4 children.
Rick Mead serves as the Technical Director at Highview Baptist Church. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a degree in Youth Ministry in 2004. He is responsible for all technical production needs for all campuses of Highview. Audio is a principal passion of his. Over the past 2 years he has focused on studying studio techniques and practices to enhance live Sound for Sunday services. As a life-long learner, Rick is always seeking out opportunities to grow in his abilities and experience. Prior to coming to Highview, Rick served as Student Minister at both Citadel Square Baptist Church and Isle of Palms Baptist Church in Charleston, SC. He and his wife, Ashley, have three sons, Micah, Rafe, and Cameron.
Joe Pace, formerly the Pastor of Worship & Arts for the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL., now currently serves as the Campus Pastor for the church’s Orange Park location. This 24 year gospel music industry veteran, is a Grammy, Dove and Stellar award nominated producer, artist, director and one of the nation’s most prolific gospel church songwriters, whose music has become a mainstay in Sunday Morning Worship services all over the world and 16 albums to his credit. Though he has penned numerous Top 10 Gospel songs, he may be best known for his work as the Director of the award winning Colorado Mass Choir - responsible for choir hit songs like: “Stir Up The Gift”. Formerly on the editorial board for Worship Leader magazine with his own recurring column and a national lecturer/teacher for Integrity Music’s Seminars4Worship, Pastor Pace's experience and intense scriptural understanding of music ministry has made him a much sought after workshop clinician and speaker. Further, it has also allowed him to create praise and worship albums and resources used to grow and nurture literally hundreds of worship leaders, music ministries and churches across the nation. Dr. Pace resides in Jacksonville, FL with his beautiful wife Nico and they have four children.
Daniel Renstrom is the worship pastor at

David Zimmer is a full-time touring and studio drummer/singer from Seattle, Washington. David and his wife Julie, their two kids (Paxton and Josephine) currently live in Burbank, California where he serves as the worship leader for the college ministry, Crossroads at Grace Community Church. David is also a songwriter and has recently written, "May The Peoples Praise You" heard on the latest Keith and Kristyn Getty album. David’s drumming and singing can be heard on multiple Sovereign Grace recordings.
