Sovereign Grace Music is heading to the West Coast this summer for a special event called The Gathering. You and your church are invited Friday night, July 24, to celebrate the glorious gospel through song, Scripture, and prayer.

 

The next day, Saturday, July 25, is a seminar designed for leaders, pastors, instrumentalists, vocalists, and anyone who wants to grow in their understanding of congregational worship. Early bird registration for Saturday is only $30. We’ll be diving deeper into what really matters to God in our meetings and talk about how we can better serve those ends. Come be equipped, inspired, and encouraged while meeting hundreds of others who share a passion for the glory of Christ.

Bob Kauflin

Bob Kauflin is the director of Sovereign Grace Music where his main tasks include equipping pastors and musicians in the theology and practice of congregational worship, and overseeing albums produced by Sovereign Grace Music. He currently resides in Louisville, KY, where he serves as a pastor at Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. He blogs at Worshipmatters.com, and has written two books, Worship Matters: Leading Others to Encounter the Greatness of God, and True Worshipers. He and his wife, Julie, have six children and an ever growing number of grandchildren.

 

Devon Kauflin

Devon serves as a pastor at Grace Church of Clarksburg by leading corporate worship, preaching, and providing pastoral care. He also serves Sovereign Grace Music by contributing to recordings, leading events, and developing strategies for training leaders and better serving local churches. He completed his B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland (2007) and his M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2015). Devon and his wife, Kristine, were married in 2006 and have 4 children.

What is The Gathering?

The Gathering is a 2-day event beginning Friday night, July 24, with an evening of worship in song, Scripture, and prayer. The next day, Saturday, July 25, is a full day of teaching, singing, and interacting about the role of congregational worship in our gatherings. It is designed for pastors, leaders, instrumentalists, vocalists, or anyone wanting to grow in their understanding of what the Bible says about congregational worship.

 

How much does it cost?

The Friday evening session is free and open to anyone. Please register to get your free ticket. Registration for Saturday is $30 a person and includes a free lunch. The registration rate will increase May 1st. Click here to register.

 

What is the registration cancellation policy?

Cancellation requests received before midnight (EST)/9PM (PST) on July 10 will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after July 10.

 

Will there be childcare available?

No, unfortunately we are not able to provide childcare.

 

What age should you be to come?

Anyone is welcome, but the recommended ages are 12 and up. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.
